St Jude storm damage in South London

Just a few images of some damage that I came across whilst walking around South London yesterday.  This part of South London appeared to have escaped major damage.  The news channels were reporting that part of the Old Kent Road was closed due to a tree brought down in the storm but this was incorrect, it was in fact a collapsed crane next to the Asda store. The crane had buckled and come down on the roof of the new development damaging scaffold. The road was closed for most of the day whilst the scaffold was made safe.  On Hawkstone Road a large branch had come down on a couple of cars but vehicles were still able to use the road, where as  Holly Grove in Peckham was totally blocked by a branch that came down
