Protest to free Kieron Bryan and the Arctic 30 at the Russian Embassy in London

A petition was handed to the Russian Embassador by Russell Bryan, the brother of Kieron Bryan a freelance journalist and one of five British men and one woman who are amongst those being detained in Russia, calling for his immediate release.

Protesters gathered outside the Russian Embassy in London to demonstrate against the detaining of the 28 environmental campaigners and two freelance journalists that were detained on board the Greenpeace ship ‘The Arctic Sunrise’ in September whilst protested against the Prirazlomnaya oil rig, an offshore platform in the Pechora Sea operated by Russia’s energy giant Gazprom, which is poised to drill for the first oil to come out of the icy waters of the Arctic.
